Agora Strategy Institute
The Agora Strategy Institute is the Agora Strategy Group's internal think tank. Under the direction of Ambassador Prof. Dr. Harald Braun (ret.), former State Secretary of Foreign Affairs at the German Federal Foreign Office, the Institute and its experts on the ground support Agora’s holistic advisory approach with targeted analyses and reports. The Institute’s scope ranges from political risk and opportunity assessments for business and investment decisions to analyses of current circumstances and geopolitical developments around the world.
More than three hundred senior experts support Agora Strategy and our clients with a wide range of regional and thematic expertise. Ambassador (ret.) Dr. Harald Braun
Ambassador (ret.) Dr. Harald Braun is Dean of the Agora Strategy Institute. He looks back at a long diplomatic career, including his role as State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Permanent Representative of Germany to the U.N. and postings in London, Paris, Washington, D.C., Africa and the Middle East.
From 2005 to 2008, he was Corporate Senior Vice President for Group Policy and External Affairs at Siemens AG.
Dr. Cornelius Adebahr
Dr. Cornelius Adebahr is Senior Fellow and Editor of the Agora Strategy Institute. Cornelius Adebahr also works as an independent policy consultant and analyst. His expertise focuses on European and global foreign policy issues.
Between 2011 and 2016, he lived in Tehran and Washington, D.C. His recent publications include "Inside Iran: Old Nation, New Power?” (Dietz 2018) and "Europe and Iran: The Nuclear Deal and Beyond" (Routledge 2017).
